A noite deste domingo (4) ficou marcada pela 66ª edição do Grammy. O evento que ocorreu na Crypto.com Arena, em Los Angeles, teve a apresentação do comediante Trevor Noah. A edição também entrou para a história a carreira de Taylor Swift, que se tornou a primeira mulher a entrar no hall de artistas a conquistar o quarto prêmio de melhor álbum do ano.
O domínio de artistas mulheres indicadas para as categorias principais foi um fato que chamou atenção no evento. Nas categorias álbum do ano, gravação do ano e música do ano, três das quatro principais, apenas um homem recebeu indicação, Jon Batiste.
A sexagésimo sexta edição também se destacou pela inclusão de três novas categorias: melhor performance de música africana, melhor álbum de jazz alternativo e melhor gravação de pop dance.
