As melhores músicas ‘dance’ da história, segundo a Billboard

Recentemente, a Billboard divulgou um ranking com as cem melhores músicas ‘dance’ da história. A lista se destaca por sua variedade, por só listar uma música desta década e por deixar de fora nomes como Britney Spears e Lady Gaga.

O primeiro lugar do ranking ficou com a faixa “I Feel Love“, de Donna Summer. “Seu processo inovador e meticuloso de gravação resultou em algo nunca antes ouvido em uma música pop: uma linha de baixo eletrônica sequenciada de forma contínua, acompanhada por camadas etéreas de sintetizadores. É simples, mas irresistível; futurista, mas sentimos, conhecemos, profundamente. Em combinação com os vocais de Summer — orgânicos e sensuais —, a precisão eletrônica transcende as limitações da expressão humana. O resultado é atemporal — tanto no sentido de resistir ao tempo quanto na sensação de estar imerso nele, suspenso nele”, justifica a revista.

Em segundo lugar, está “Groove Is in the Heart“, de Deee Lite. Na sequência, estão as canções “One More Time“, de Daft Punk, “Block Rockin’ Beats“, de The Chemical Brothers e “Your Love“, de Frankie Knuckles e Jamie Principle.
