Por conta da temporada de premiações musicais ocorrendo no fim do ano, foi enfim divulgada a lista de indicados ao Grammy 2020. Com data marcada para o dia 26 de janeiro, o evento acontecerá, como de costume, na cidade de Los Angeles.
Na edição do ano que vem, Lizzo, Billie Eilish e Lil Nas X estão liderando nas nomeações; Lizzo segue com oito indicações, incluindo as três grandes categorias da noite (Música do Ano, Álbum do Ano, Gravação do Ano), e Billie está com sete, também presente nas três principais.
Além disso, outras artistas também seguem presentes como indicadas nas categorias com maiores expectativas do Grammy. Taylor Swift, por exemplo, está concorrendo a Música do Ano por “Lover”, e Ariana Grande com “thank you, next” em Álbum do Ano.
Beyoncé está com quatro indicações, incluindo Melhor Filme Musical com “Homecoming”. Dessa forma, a cantora estende seu recorde de artista feminina mais indicada na história da premiação, com um total de setenta nomeações.
