A 26ª edição da Billboard Latin Music Awards aconteceu ontem, 25, no Mandalay Bay Events Center, em Las Vegas.
A premiação, apresentada pela revista Billboard, premia os artistas latino-americanos que mais se destacam no cenário da música, os álbuns, músicas, escritores e produtores.
O maior indicado foi também o grande vencedor da Billboard Latin Music Awards 2019 foi o cantor Ozuna, que levou para casa 15 troféus, incluindo “Artist of the Year” e “Hot Latin Songs Artist of the Year”. Dessa forma, Ozuna quebra o recorde da premiação. Um de seus hits de mais sucesso, “Te Robaré“, é um dos marcos da carreira da cantor. O videoclipe tem mais de 147 milhões de visualizações no YouTube.
Performances
Na edição deste ano, os destaques da cerimônia também foram as apresentações de Anitta e Becky G, com a performance de “Banana”, com muita dança e palco decorado com frutas. Anitta, que lançou seu último álbum há pouco tempo, concorreu na categoria “Social Artist of the Year”, mas acabou perdendo para o cantor de trap e reggaeton Bad Bunny.
Rosalía também subiu ao palco ao lado do cantor El Guincho e do sucesso internacional J Balvin. O trio cantou a música “Con Altura” com direito a bailarinos e muita dança.
Como de costume, aconteceram apresentações de diversos artistas que estavam concorrendo nas categorias da premiação. Entre eles, estavam Anitta, Becky G, Rosalía, J Balvin, CNCO, Karol G, Bad Bunny, Ozuna, El Guincho, Luis Fonsi, Sean Paul e outros.
