No último domingo (25), aconteceu a cerimônia do BET Awards 2023. Promovida pela Black Entertainment Television, a premiação tem como objetivo celebrar os talentos da cultura negra nas áreas de música, cinema, esportes e mais.

Em sua 22ª edição, o evento teve como principais destaques as cantoras Beyoncé e SZA, que levaram três prêmios cada – entre eles, um empate na categoria de Álbum do Ano. Na sequência, Drake teve duas vitórias.
O Brasil também esteve representado na cerimônia. L7nnon concorria como Melhor Artista Internacional; e MC Ryan estava indicado na categoria de Artista Revelação Internacional. No entanto, os artistas não levaram a melhor nas divisões.
A premiação contou, ainda, com apresentações de Lil Uzi Vert, The Sugar Hill Gang, Ja Rule, Jeezy, Remy Ma, Soulja Boy, Warren G, Patti LaBelle e mais.
